NIGHT/WIRE
Every event. Every artist. Every crew. One wire.
The scene starts here.
Launching in Ottawa
One platform for events, tickets, communities, artists, and tools. All running through a single wire.
Discover
Not every event is the same.
Every event is classified by scale and frequency. Local bar nights, headline shows, local festivals, major festivals — one-off or recurring series. Each gets its own space. Local nights never get buried under festival announcements.
Your feed is driven by who you follow and where you are. No black-box algorithm. No pay-to-boost. Just clean, structured event cards — who, where, when, genre, ticket status.
Your Calendar
Going or Maybe — tap once and it's in your calendar. Agenda-style view of everything coming up. Your status unlocks event chat, crew visibility, and the social layer.
Announcements
Artists and promoters message followers directly — new mixes, merch drops, updates. Capped monthly so it stays meaningful. No algorithm, no clutter.
Connect
Your crew. Your city. Your scene.
Crews
Private, invite-only groups for your people. See what your crew is going to, make plans together. “3 of your crew are Going” shows up right on the event listing.
Event Chats
Auto-created for every event, open to anyone who RSVPs Going or Maybe. Closes after the event ends. Coordinate, meet people, share the vibe — without it becoming permanent noise.
Scene Groups
Platform-managed groups organized by city and genre. “Anyone going out in Ottawa tonight?” finally has a home. No need to be Facebook friends — just be part of the scene.
Dedicated profiles for every level.
DJs, producers, and live acts get real profiles — media links, mixes tagged to events, automatic verification based on history. No ratings, no scores. Venues get sound specs, event history, and booking tools. Promoters can find and book through a built-in enquiry system.
Sound like your scene?
Organize
Tickets and guest lists that actually work together.
Native ticketing with tiered pricing — early bird, guest, door, VIP. One event owner controls everything. Add collaborators with configurable permissions — co-promoters can edit, artists can manage their guest list spots, but payouts stay with the owner.
Guest lists are built in. The owner allocates spots to artists and collaborators, who distribute them through the platform. Everyone gets a scannable QR code — same as a ticket holder. Door staff scan with their phone. Green means go. No clipboard, no printed list.
Already selling on Dice or Eventbrite? Just link to it. Nightwire doesn't force you to switch — it gives you a reason to.
Open Decks
Sign-up nights built into the platform. Promoters set slots and genre tags, artists sign up with their profiles. Drag-and-drop running order, automatic slot notifications.
Event Pages
Two-sided community boards — official promoter FAQ and attendee tips. Content carries over for recurring events. Past events stay browsable forever.
Underground
Some things aren't meant to be public.
Any event can be set to secret. The promoter controls which fields are visible and when they unlock — the address reveals at 6pm day-of, the lineup drops a week before. Password gates and trusted-circle invites for access control. Every detail is there. It just shows up when you decide.
